Our beloved country massively voted for a «changemen» in 2024.
The country definitely needed a healthy breathing and a most needed liberation and independance after that of 1968.
The late US president JF Kennedy so rightly said: Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country!
During the past 58 years of independance, the country has made considerable progress and development.
Every government has come and done their part of contribution more or less to uplift the country! One question arises anyhow! Have we attained our POLITICAL MATURITY?
Should we cast a vote for a political party or candidate which or who has respectively invited us on a political meeting/gathering and served us some foods and refreshments?
Should we be indebted to them for a briyani? If politicians do provide us same, it is their way and responsibility to serve the voters! That does not guarantee our votes to them!
We are in 2026. We should choose our government intelligently and responsibly!
We must always think and ASK : am I voting for the right and capable candidate? Are they apt to serve the country and the specific constituency?
It will be agreed that the country’s state of economy, finance and leading projects for its welfare are the responsibilities of the Central government.
On the other hand, moving side by side are issues, problems existing in the constituency which affect the daily lives of the inhabitants.
They are eager to see the problematic concerns being dealt and appropriate solutions found in a desirably acceptable manner.
Every elected candidate has SWORN to serve the country and they must not at any time forget that they have sworn too to serve the constituency and its inhabitants!
It will be then that we will get the POLITICAL MATURITY which we badly need. Let us do the best for Gen-next.
